snacks by Shira vol. 76: fudgy paleo brownies

fudgy paleo brownies the food therapist

makes 6-8 brownies


1/2 cup cashew butter
2 Tbsp coconut oil, melted
1/3 cup maple syrup
1/3 cup apple sauce
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup hazelnut flour
2 Tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease 8 x 4 baking dish with coconut oil.
  3. Place the the cashew butter, apple sauce, coconut oil, hazelnut flour, cocoa powder, vanilla, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a bowl and mix until well combined.
  4. Spread batter into the baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
  5. Let cool for 20 minutes.
  6. Enjoy!
