snacks by Shira vol. 9: roasted maple cinnamon pecans
Just the right amount of sweet and spicy.
makes 1 cup nuts
1 cup raw pecans
2 Tbsp maple syrup
1 Tbsp coconut oil, melted
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp ground cinnamon
- Preheat the oven to 350.
- Place the pecans, maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla extract and cinnamon in a small bowl and toss until well combined.
- Place the nuts on a parchment lined baking sheet.
- Roast for 10 minutes, or until golden brown (flipping halfway through).
- Cool before serving.
- Optional: season with sea salt
