snacks by Shira vol. 15: roasted chili lime cashews
Zesty roasted nuts comin' through.
1 cup raw cashews
1 Tbsp maple syrup
1 Tbsp coconut oil, melted
juice and zest of one lime
1/2 tsp chili powder
pinch sea salt
- Preheat the oven to 350.
- Toss the nuts in a small bowl with the maple syrup, coconut oil, lime zest, lime juice, and chili powder until combined evenly.
- Place the nuts on a parchment lined baking sheet and sprinkle sea salt on top.
- Roast for 12-15 minutes, flipping once, or until golden.
- Cool before serving.
- Optional: top with fresh lime zest.
