snacks by Shira vol. 19: roasted turmeric nori cashews
1 cup raw cashews
1 Tbsp toasted sesame oil
1/4 nori seaweed sheet (8x8 inch), cut into small strips
1 1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp sesame seeds
pinch sea salt
- Preheat the oven to 350.
- Toss nuts in a small bowl with sesame oil, nori strips, turmeric, sesame seeds, and sea salt and mix until well combined.
- Place nuts on a parchment lined baking sheet.
- Roast for 10-12 minutes, flipping once, or until golden.
- Cool before serving.
serving size: 1/4 cup nuts
